Saving Bacon Grease
As far back as I can remember my family has always saved bacon grease. My method is pretty easy.
I cook my bacon on a George foreman grill that has the little grease catcher, when it is full, usually after 8 slices of regular bacon or 4 thick cut. I dump it into a glass container and put a lid on it and stick it in the fridge. I don’t worry about it going bad, because what I save this week will get used next, and so on. We use bacon grease for gravy, fried green beans, fried eggs. The uses are really endless.
