Homemade Chili (with beans & tomatoes)

With cold weather here we LOVE homemade chili. I usually pair it with peanut butter and syrup sandwich, or just cheese and crackers.

First start off by chopping your onion(diced works too, it depends on if you like bigger chunks)

Second, add onion and 2 pounds ground beef to a big pot and brown the meat until no longer pink.

Third, add in 2 cans tomatoes, 2 cans kidney beans undrained, and 2 packets chili seasoning. Stir and simmer 10 minutes. I like a little more juice in mine so I add 1 can full of water.

Easy Homemade Chili

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Pounds Ground Beef
  • 1 Chopped Onion
  • 2 Cans Diced Tomatoes
  • 2 Cans Kidney Beans
  • 2 Packs Chili Seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Chop or dice onions
  • Cook ground beef and onion until no longer pink
  • Add tomatoes undrained, kidney beans undrained and seasoning packets
  • Stir and simmer 10 to 15 minutes
