Fried Rice Recipe

Who doesn’t like fried rice from chinese? I know we do, and with this recipe you can make it anytime you want.

What you will need:

  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 cup peas and carrots
  • 2 eggs
  • optional green onion

What to do:

Bring 1 cup water to boil, add rice, remove from heat and lid it for 5 minutes.

Preheat skillet/wok to medium heat, add sesame oil, onion, peas and carrots. Fry til tender

Slide vegetables over, add beaten egg and scramble. Mix together

Add rice and soy sauce, fry till warmed.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Uncooked Rice minute rice works well
  • 2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 Small White or Yellow onion
  • 1 Cup Frozen Peas and Corn canned also works well
  • 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce low sodium works well
  • 2 Eggs, Beaten
  • 2 Sprigs Green Onion Optional

Instructions
 

  • Cook rice in equal parts water to rice. 1cup to 1 cup. Set aside
  • Preheat large skillet, or Wok to medium heat, pour sesame oil in. Add onion and peas and Carrots, fry till tender.
  • Slide onion, peas and carrots to the side, pour beaten eggs into the other side. Using a spatula scramble the eggs. Once cooked, mix with vegetables.
  • Add rice, pour soy over top. Stir and fry mixture until heated thru. Add green onion. Enjoy!
