Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff

Start with chopping the onion and mushrooms.

In a large skillet cook onion and mushroom just til mushrooms shrink a bit. Remove from pan and add hamburger. Cook hamburger 2 minutes then add mushroom and onion until no longer pink. Drain excess liquid.

Return beef mixture to skillet, add broth, worcestershire sauce, better than bullion and cream cheese. Mix well, simmer off excess liquid.

Stir in nutmeg and sour cream. Serve with noodles or cauliflower for a low carb option.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Pound Ground Beef
  • 16 Ounces Sliced Baby Bella Mushrooms sub with canned
  • 1 Whole Onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Beef Broth
  • 4 Ounces Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Full Fat Sour Cream
  • 1 Dash Nutmeg
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 Cup Wide Egg Noodles omit if eating keto/low carb
  • 2 Tbsp Better Than Bullion Paste

Instructions
 

  • Chop Onion, and mushroom (can use canned to save time)
  • In a large pan melt butter, add onion and mushrooms. Cook until mushrooms start to soften and shrink. remove from pan
  • Add Hamburger and cook 2 minutes. Add mushroom and onion back. Cook till no longer pink.
  • Add beef broth, Worcestershire, better than bullion and cream cheese. Stir until cream cheese is melted. Simmer off excess liquid.
  • Stir in nutmeg and sour cream. Serve with egg noodles, or for low carb serve with cooked cabbage or cooked cauliflower.
