Chocolate Chip Cookies
I have been making this specific recipe for years! My family just loves them.
Equipment you will need are
- baking sheet
- parchment paper
- 1-inch cookie scoop
- measuring cup and spoons
- any kind of mixer
Ingredients needed
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup packed Brown Sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons hot water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips ( I used mini chips)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- Cream together butter and both sugars until smooth.
- add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
- dissolve baking soda in the hot water, add to mixture.
- Mix in flour, little at a time (if you have a standing mixer this is really easy as there is no need to stop the mixing)
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Scoop 1 inch balls on to a parchment-lined baking sheet
- Bake approximately 10 minutes (the edges will be slightly browned)

Ingredients
- 1 Cup Butter Softened

- 2 Whole Eggs
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla
- 3 Cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 2 Teaspoons Hot Water to dissolve baking soda
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt If the butter you use is salted omit
- 2 Cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips Mini chips work well too
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- Cream together butter and sugars until smooth
- Beat in eggs one at a time
- Stir in vanilla
- Dissolve baking soda in the hot water
- Add to batter along with salt
- Stir in flour 1/2 cup at a time
- Stir in chocolate chips
- Drop cookie batter by 1-inch scoop full about 2 inches apart
- Bake 10 minutes or until edges are slightly brown
- Let cool, enjoy!
