Alfredo Sauce (Home-Made)

I used to always buy jarred alfredo sauce, it wasn’t til I was 30 I decided to “try” and make my own. I looked up basic recipes for it. Tried a few trial and error! The one posted below is delicious!

Start by melting 1/2 a cup of butter or 1 stick(must be real butter)

Next you will add in 2 cups heavy cream (must be heavy, or it will turn out too thin)

Bring to a simmer, and add 1 cup parmesan cheese.(Grated works best, but the powder kind will work too.)

Keep simmering and whisking until all cheese is melted, add 1 teaspoon garlic powder.

Serve with whatever noodle you have, or none at all. Chicken is usually what I make, but sometimes I make shrimp.
